Nexcurity was founded from a simple observation: many organisations know they need to do something. They just do not know where to start.

We help with that. No panic, no hype. What actually helps.

The focus is on small and medium-sized enterprises. Organisations without a dedicated security team. With limited time, limited budget, and real risks nonetheless. For these organisations we develop solutions that work. Pragmatic, clear, actionable.

Founder and Managing Director

Sven Heitmann

Over 20 years in IT security. Most recently as manager of a global Security Operations Center with teams in four countries.

My path

I started as an IT systems specialist. Local IT support, on-site with users.

From there I became a European network and security administrator, then an engineer in a global cyber security team, then head of a corporate-wide SOC.

I have built SOCs. Managed security incidents. Trained teams. Prepared audits – TISAX and customer assessments. Developed incident response processes and lived by them, not just documented them.

That experience is the reason I founded Nexcurity.

How I work

I do not think in categories. Not with problems, not with people.

I recognise patterns early. I ask questions where others already see answers. I connect technical depth with the view of the bigger picture.

What drives me: security that actually works. Not security as a checkmark in a document, but security as an attitude.
